Brow lamination works by "perming" the eyebrow hair with heat-based chemicals. This can give them fuller dimensions as well as keep them in place after removing any cosmetics worn throughout the day. How long does brow lamination last? The lamination lasts up to 8 weeks (depending on care and hair growth cycle) Brow Lamination Aftercare *Do not wet your brows for 24-48 hours *Apply Elleeplex After-care serum to your brows daily, preferably at night time *Comb hairs into place daily *Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils *Do not apply makeup to the brows for 24 hours post treatment *Do not apply retin-A,AHA or exfoliate the brow area for 72 hours before or after treatment *No self-tanner on the face for at least 48 hours Who is not a good candidate for brow lamination? *Psoriasis/ Eczema *Recent eye surgery *Alopecia *Recent permanent makeup *Sunburn *Ultra-Sensitive skin *On any blood thinners *Pink eye *Scar tissue in the treatment area *Pregnant/Breastfeeding *Brow growth serums *If you have had brow henna within the last 10 weeks Can I Get Brow Lamination If I Am Pregnant Or Breastfeeding? We do not recommend doing brow lamination if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This is due to elevated sensitivity caused by hormones produced during pregnancy and after/during breastfeeding. Elevated sensitivity can trigger reactions and also create inconsistent results. It is ideal to wait at least 3 months after breastfeeding Does Brow lamination Hurt? Brow lamination, when done correctly by a licensed professional, should not cause any damage to the brows or painful irritation during the treatment.
